Pieter van de Poel
My name is Pieter van der Poel and I thrive on taking medical device innovations to international markets. I have a background in medical systems, in the US, in Europe, having created medical innovations with teams of clinicians and engineers as well as having led commercial teams in Europe. I have run my own company, Propellant Health since 2009. Entrepreneurship means to me getting a DEEP understanding of the market(s) you aim to serve, understanding the risks and prudently advance, one step at a time.

Petros Maliotis was born in Cyprus some decades ago. He has a Bachelor in Horticulture from the University of Reading (UK), and a Master in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University (USA). Just after his studies - no break for summer holidays - he started an olive oil bottling and trading company with his cousin. Through the company they have won six international (and some local) awards for their quality. Petros moved to the Netherlands last year to take a teaching position at Van Hall Larenstein University. Despite his age (not exactly a young graduate anymore), he still likes dreaming, creating and learning.
